Project Manager M&A
As the company is growing and actively pursuing opportunities to expand its international network of ports we have a new job-opening for a Project Manager M&A.
In this role you will be a member of the Business Development Team, assisting the Group Chief Business Development & Integration Officer in identifying, analysing, recommending, and managing potential international business opportunities that would support the international growth of the company. The role is based in the Head Office of QTerminals in Qatar and reports to the Group Chief Business Development & Integration Officer.
Job-responsibilities (not limited to):
- Pro-actively research markets and customer needs
- Oversee detailed strategic analysis to identify growth prospects
- Identify and approach M&A targets through multiple channels and existing networks
- Develop in-depth knowledge of competitive landscape and global M&A activities
- Perform feasibility studies on identified business opportunities to identify best-fit targets
- Develop reports and presentations on potential targets for QT’s senior management
- Perform detailed risk assessment reports and financial analysis on potential targets incl. forecasting of financial statements
- Prepare and maintain generic pre-qualification and tender formats, (IT) tools and templates
To be successful in this role you will have:
- A Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Business Administration or Economics
- CFA/CPA certification is preferred
- 4-6 years’ experience in a similar (M&A) role in business or consultancy (at a Big-4 firm)
- Experience in an international (maritime/port) setting is preferred
- Strong analytical skills, to the point with a well-developed business sense
- Excellent presentation & communication skills, able to communicate with stakeholders at different levels
- Ambitious, critical, pragmatic, and persistent in delivering high quality
- Proficiency in English
